Do not grieve over what has passed unless it makes you work harder for what is about to come.
- Umar Ibn Al Khattab

In July 2021, Quran House officially opened its fitness centre. At a time when there is a race against time and that it is very tempting to only eat fast-foods, it is very easy and common to fall prey to an unhealthy lifestyle. To alleviate this problem, QFC was set up as part of Quran House’s vision, in line with the following Islamic teaching: A sound mind in a sound body.

The fitness centre offers a wide array of courses ranging from body building, Zumba fitness, to other self defense courses such as Kyokushin karate, Brazilian Jujitsu, etc. These courses are delivered by duly qualified practitioners in their fields. The courses are available for both men and women, and for both Muslims and non-Muslims. As at now there are over 100 members training at the fitness centre.

It should be specified that there are different timings for men and women respectively and courses are offered by coaches of the same sex. No mixity is allowed.

Despite the propagation of covid-19, all precautionary measures and protocols are applied in accordance with government regulations, to ensure that QFC is a safe venue for all its members.
